Port of Nanao :Ota Multi-Purpose International Terminal Development Project
In the area behind the Port of Nanao, lumber distribution and processing industry is at large. To accommodate the increasing size of the lumber transporting vessels, a larger port facility has been desired.
Therefore, we have been developing the Multi-Purpose International Terminal (Water depth 13m). The service has begun in December 2007 at water depth (10m) in order to promote early development of the project effects.
The Port of Nanao Ota Multi-Purpose International Terminal developed
by the structure effective for soft ground (Steel cell type).
