September (1929) The Ministry of Home Affairs, Niigata Civil Engineering Branch, Port of Nanao Renovation Office was established in AzaFuchu-Machi, Nanao-City.
April (1943) The office name was changed to Port of Nanao Construction Office
November (1943) Due to the change of the governmental organization system, the office became the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the First Port Construction Department, Port of Nanao Construction Office
May (1945) The office became the Ministry of Transportation, the First Port Construction Department, Port of Nanao Construction Office, due to the change of the governmental organization system
August (1952) The office became the First Port Construction Bureau, Port of Nanao Construction Office, due to the change of organization system in the Ministry of Transportation
April (1953) Wajima factory was established in Wajimazaki-machi, Wajima-city
April (1964) Kanazawa factory was established in Ono-machi, Kanazawa-city
October (1965) Wajima factory was closed
April (1968) The office was moved to Ono-machi, Kanzawa-city
April (1979) Wajima factory was re-established in Kawai-machi, Wajima-city
April (1982) Wajima factory was moved to Kawai-machi, Wajima-city
January (1986) Port of Nanao Construction Office changed the name to Port of Kanazawa Construction Office
December (1990) Nanao factory was moved to Kotobuki-cho, Nanao-city
April (1997) The office name was changed to Kanzawa Port and Airport Construction Office
January (2001) Due to the reorganization of the central government ministries and agencies, the name was changed:
Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transportation and Tourism, Hokuriku Regional Development Bureau, Kanazawa Port and Airport Construction Office
April (2003) The name was changed to Kanazawa Port and Airport Development Office
